Dona has always had a passion for animals which has kept her working in the Veterinary field for over four decades. Starting out working in the kennel her skills quickly grew learning the behavior of many different species of animals. She then wanted to learn more about the medical side and became an assistant in the early 80’s. Working hard Dona became a technician then a surgical technician for the top orthopedic surgeons on Long Island, which she worked for over a decade. Dona’s desire to always want to help the patients as well as their owners led her to become a Practice Manager.

Dona has also retired from the United States Air Force and Air National Guard where she had the opportunity to travel the country and world. Her favorite things to do when not working are spending time with her horse Keats, whom she competed in Jumpers and Eventing with for over 15 years. Keats is happily retired in Mt Airy NC and still being playful at the young age of 30. She also loves spending time with her dogs, JJ and Willow, and her cats, Monkey and Ducky.
